About The Position
The Sales & Service position is responsible for tire and wheel sales, service, and maintenance. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. Duties include tire installation and maintenance, repairs, rotations, inflation, wheel attachment and rebalancing, TPMS installation or rebuilding and relearning or calibration, and washing tires and wheels. The position also tests and installs batteries, uses and maintains equipment, assists other employees, test drives vehicles, and operates service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The technician promotes store sales and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. On-the-job training is available.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
- Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
- Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain tires and wheels.
- Repair, rotate, and inflate tires; attach and rebalance wheels.
- Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate it.
- Wash tires and wheels.
- Test and install batteries.
- Use and maintain equipment.
- Assist other employees.
- Test drive vehicles.
- Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
