About The Position

The Tire Technician mounts, balances, rotates, and repairs passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial tires. The role also involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial vehicles; carrying out fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks; operating company vehicles safely; and responding to service calls in a service truck when necessary. Additional duties include handling inventory, using and maintaining Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS), and following safety procedures, training guidelines, and company policies. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and overtime may be required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old; must be at least 21 years old to drive.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Ability to lift and move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
Ability to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, and kneeling, and to work around vibrations.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Overtime may be required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with heavy-duty or commercial tires is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Mount, balance, rotate, and repair passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial tires.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles.
Perform fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks.
Operate company vehicles safely and follow traffic and speed regulations.
Respond to service calls using a service truck (F-350) when necessary.
Load and unload inventory and assist with physical stock counts.
Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
Follow safety procedures, training guidelines, and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
