Tire Shop Attnd Maint (Springdale L.H. Garage)
About The Position
Safely manipulate tire/rim assemblies on loaders, forklifts, tractors, trailers and multiple types of equipment. Identify tires which need replacement from both normal an abnormal wear and/or damage. Follow proper procedures to mount/dismount tires and install properly on equipment. Ability to manipulate 200lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance for 12-hour shifts. Tech will be walking, standing, bending, pushing, pulling Up to 75lbs in all types of weather. Willing to grasp, grip, twist, pull bend and stoop for 12-hour shifts. Tech will be performing service calls on equipment at remote locations away from the garage.
Requirements
- Must have 3 mo. work history in past 6 mo.
- Valid driver’s license and safety toed foot ware are required.
- Must pass MVR check.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must not have any DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months.
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Tyson Team members are eligible for rehire after completing a 180-day waiting period.
- Prior Tyson Team members cannot have worked 3 times or more for Tyson Foods.
Responsibilities

- Manipulate 200lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance for 12-hour shifts.
- Walk, stand, bend, push, pull up to 75lbs in all types of weather for 12-hour shifts.
- Grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop for 12-hour shifts.
- Perform service calls on equipment at remote locations away from the garage.
- Recognize and document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings and signage.
- Document part numbers on log sheets and work orders.
- Track parts/tire usage.
- Document and log labor hours on work orders and log sheets.
