Big O Tires is looking for a high-powered Lube & Tire Technician to join their fast-paced service crew. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with their hands, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in keeping drivers safe on the road. The position offers a variety of tasks as no two days are the same, and the shop environment is energetic. Most Big O Tires stores are individually owned and operated by franchisees, who make staffing and hiring decisions for their locations.

Requirements

An upbeat, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Proven experience as a lube tech or tire installer is a major plus, but a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn will get our attention.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., stand for extended periods, and move with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

Perform top-tier tire services, including mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires.
Conduct quick and precise oil changes, fluid flushes, and filter replacements.
Perform multi-point safety inspections, checking batteries, belts, hoses, and tire pressure.
Keep workspace clean, organized, and safe.
Team up with service advisors to provide friendly, transparent, and ultra-fast service.
