The Tire and Battery Service Advisor is responsible for maintaining facility and sales floor safety and standards, ensuring the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor is organized and merchandised, and presenting merchandise. They will monitor tire and battery orders, assist members with appointments, and communicate lead time changes. This role provides expert member service, recommendations for tire and battery products, and explains warranties. The advisor drives sales and service excellence in the TBC, triages service workflow, and demonstrates knowledge of safety, industry guidelines, equipment operations, and product specifications. They leverage technology to enhance operations and engagement, serve as a brand advocate, and develop/influence team members. The role involves completing vehicle service requests, operating TBC equipment safely, receiving/storing/disposing of merchandise, and completing documentation. Strong interpersonal skills are required for engaging with people and handling challenging situations professionally. The advisor operates hardware, processes member purchases, and assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges. They comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, and adapting to change.
