The Time and Attendance Clerk is instrumental in the processing of weekly payroll for approximately 400 employees across multiple states and locations for hourly and salary employees. This position will be the main processor for time and attendance data and issue resolution and a secondary processor for payroll processing. The position will also be responsible for maintaining employee records and updating data as necessary to support Payroll and Human Resources. Respond to questions and special requests from employees such as PTO reports, timekeeping reports, payroll reports, and others as assigned. Assist with requests from regulatory agencies (DOL, IRS, etc), such as audit requests, tax issues, and others as needed. Daily tasks for the Time and Attendance Clerk will include time and attendance data audit, daily hours reporting, wage garnishment entry, processing new hires, status changes, final checks for separations, direct deposit changes, and other employee-level changes.
