About The Position

Time & Attendance Specialist IPEX is one of North America’s leading providers of advanced plastic piping systems. Our mission is to shape a better tomorrow by connecting people with water and energy. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Time & Attendance Specialist. This role can be based in Oakville, Ontario; Edmonton, Alberta; Langley, BC, or Pineville, North Carolina. This is a remote-based role for individuals situated within proximity to an Ipex location.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of payroll or time and attendance experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with Dayforce, Kronos, ADP, Workday or similar systems.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and labour law compliance.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support accurate workforce timekeeping, scheduling, leave administration, and payroll preparation across multiple locations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot time and attendance systems.
  • Review, audit and validate employee timecards, schedules and leave records.
  • Prepare and reconcile time data for payroll processing.
  • Review payroll registers for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate attendance and workforce reports.
  • Support employees and managers with timekeeping inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT and system support teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
