About The Position

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking a skilled Tile Contractor to install, repair, and maintain various types of tile in residential homes, office spaces, and commercial properties. The contractor will prepare surfaces, accurately measure and set tile, repair damaged sections, estimate materials, and communicate with clients and internal project staff. Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional tile installation and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of tile materials, including ceramic, porcelain, and stone, and the tools required for installation.
• Ability to measure, trim, and set tile accurately with close attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills, including the ability to follow job specifications and document completed tasks.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate on team projects.
• Adaptability to learn new installation techniques and adjust to changing job requirements.
• Must own a complete set of professional tile tools.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must currently reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install tile on floors, walls, and ceilings with precision and attention to detail.
• Cut, shape, and fit tile around fixtures, plumbing lines, and structural corners.
• Prepare, level, and clean surfaces before laying out and setting tile.
• Inspect, repair, or replace broken or damaged tile sections.
• Estimate material requirements for upcoming jobs and assist with accurate client or project-lead quotes.
• Offer design suggestions and tile recommendations based on client preferences and project scope.
• Maintain equipment, power tools, and hand tools in safe working condition.
• Communicate regularly with account managers, project coordinators, and dispatchers.
