Jewelry Television - TikTok Social Selling Live Host
About The Position
Jewelry Television is seeking dynamic, engaging TikTok Social Selling Hosts to create live shopping experiences that increase brand awareness and product sales and build customer relationships. This paid role is based onsite at JTV’s headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee; remote work is not available. Hosts serve as the face of the brand, presenting products during TikTok live shopping sessions that typically last 2–4 hours and take place multiple times per week. They use product knowledge, storytelling, education, and sales techniques to engage viewers and drive conversions in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided for broadcast setup and TikTok Live’s technical features. The schedule is flexible and involves approximately 2–3 shows per week, with evening and weekend availability required to accommodate peak viewership. Jewelry Television is a leading U.S. jewelry and gemstone retailer with a privately held, 33-year history and an omni-digital strategy that includes round-the-clock live programming, e-commerce, and social media. Requirements
- Proven sales experience with strong closing skills, or a strong desire to learn.
- Comfort and confidence on camera.
- High-energy, authentic communication style.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial approach.
- Strong grasp of TikTok and social media trends.
- Ability to run a live show independently.
- Stamina for 2–4-hour sessions.
- Basic comfort with mobile streaming technology.

Responsibilities
- Host TikTok live shopping sessions lasting 2–4 hours, multiple times per week.
- Present products energetically and with accurate product knowledge, describe items, and answer viewer questions in real time.
- Maintain high energy throughout each show.
- Drive sales conversions through storytelling, product education, and engaging presentation.
- Create urgency through auctions, flash sales, and limited-time offers.
- Upsell and cross-sell products during shows and work toward sales metric goals.
- Assist with planning show content, product lineups, and promotions.
- Set up and manage lighting, camera angles, broadcast equipment, pre-show preparations, and inventory displays.
- Monitor live comments and engagement, manage TikTok Live’s technical features, and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Develop hooks and formats to grow viewership and build a loyal follower base.
- Create promotional content before and after shows and keep up with TikTok trends.
