About The Position
We are seeking skilled interpreters who are fluent in Tigrinya and English to assist in providing vital communication services in the Lithonia, GA community. This is a freelance (Independent Contractor) position located in Tucson, AZ, 85713. The role involves providing accurate and professional Tigrinya<>English interpretation for customers and staff, assisting with verbal communication during licensing processes, customer inquiries, and other services. Upholding confidentiality and cultural sensitivity at all times is crucial. This is NOT a remote position and requires in-person interpreting.
Requirements
- Fluency in Tigrinya and English, with excellent speaking and listening skills.
- Available for In-Person interpreting.
Nice To Haves
- Previous consecutive interpretation experience in medical, legal, or public service settings is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
