TIG Welder (7AM - 3;30PM M-F)
About The Position
The Welder performs skilled welding work in the fabrication and repair of metal hoses. The role may require cross-training across company departments based on business needs. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week; overtime is possible. Hose Master is a family-owned and operated manufacturer of flexible metal hose and metal bellows expansion joints. The company describes its products as 100% manufactured in the USA and serves industrial markets including power generation, refining and petrochemical, steel, pulp and paper, chemical processing, marine and offshore, liquid terminals, and bulk material handling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Basic welding experience.
- Good basic math skills.
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Good vision, especially color vision, due to color coding.
- Ability to climb up and down, bend, squat, twist, and kneel.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding.
- Ensure orders are completed by their due dates.
- Inspect welds.
