About The Position

Gulfco Manufacturing is seeking a TIG Welder for its fabrication department in Pueblo, Colorado. The role uses a wide variety of gas torch and electric arc welding processes, including inert gas-shielded methods, to weld various metals and alloys in all positions. Approximately 70% of the work is TIG welding, with the remaining work requiring MIG welding skills. The position is temporary and full-time, with a first-shift schedule of 10-hour days Monday through Thursday and 8 hours of overtime on Fridays. The pay range is $21.00–$25.00 per hour.

Gulfco Manufacturing is a family-owned manufacturer serving the global food processing and packaging industries. The Pueblo facility focuses on manufacturing and includes machining, fabrication, welding, warehousing, and assembly operations.

Requirements

• Advanced TIG welding skills and intermediate MIG welding skills.
• Ability to weld thin-gauge material, including 18-gauge material, efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to weld to close tolerances of +/- .030 efficiently and effectively.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining production and quality standards.
• Willingness to work within strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Good listening and learning skills; adaptable and willing to work with others.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Five years of experience in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience with conventional arc welding in a job-shop environment on stainless-steel fabricated parts.

Responsibilities

• Weld a variety of metals and their alloys in all positions using gas torch and electric arc welding processes, including inert gas-shielded methods.
• Perform TIG and MIG welding, with approximately 70% of the work involving TIG welding.
• Meet production and quality standards while working independently.
• Follow strict safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
