About The Position
Perform welding production activities according to work orders and production schedules. Work with the Production Manager and Inventory/Purchasing to meet daily production needs. The role may also involve developing and creating fixtures, completing production and inventory documentation, maintaining a safe and clean workspace, and cross-training with coworkers.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds as necessary.
- At least 2 years of TIG welding experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute.
- Ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience desired.
Responsibilities
- Weld assemblies according to manufacturer directions and specifications, using fixtures.
- Assist with developing and creating fixtures for existing and new products.
- Complete work tasks according to work orders and production schedules.
- Report quality, process, equipment, and material problems to the Production Manager.
- Complete inventory and production documentation.
- Work safely and maintain a clean work area in accordance with procedures, rules, and company policies.
- Stage welded products neatly and orderly.
- Participate in cross-training by learning and teaching tasks and positions already known.
- Perform other duties or tasks as needed.
