About The Position

L&L Metal Fabrication is looking for an experienced TIG Welder to join our team in Tontitown, Arkansas. We are looking for a skilled welder who takes pride in producing clean, precise, high-quality work. This position is ideal for someone with strong TIG welding experience who enjoys custom fabrication, working from drawings, and building a variety of projects rather than performing the same repetitive weld every day. This is a full-time, on-site position in an active metal fabrication shop.

Requirements

  • Proven TIG welding experience
  • Strong TIG welding skills on stainless steel and aluminum
  • Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds
  • Ability to read and work from drawings, measurements, and fabrication details
  • Experience with fitting and custom metal fabrication
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure and common fabrication tools
  • Strong attention to detail and workmanship
  • Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality
  • Candidates should be prepared to complete an in-person welding test as part of the interview process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
  • Fabricate custom metal components and assemblies according to drawings, dimensions, and project specifications
  • Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and fabrication details
  • Fit, measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and fabrication
  • Produce clean, accurate welds while maintaining proper fit, alignment, and finish
  • Perform grinding, finishing, and cleanup as required to produce a professional finished product
  • Inspect your own work for quality, dimensions, and conformance to project requirements
  • Use common fabrication tools and equipment safely and correctly
  • Work with supervisors and other fabrication team members to complete projects accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area
