The position of Welder will apply their knowledge and skills in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) including fitting, welding, and brazing for the repair and modification of turbine engine components, primarily used in the aerospace industry. Materials include, but are not limited to, stainless steels, titanium, aluminum and nickel alloys such as hastaloy and inconel. Participation in a continuous and proven on-the-job training program (OJT) and adherence to the American Welding Society (AWS D17.1 -aerospace endorsement) structured certification program is expected. This position will work alongside experienced welders that allows continuous interaction of techniques, skill knowledge, and print reading and interpretation. You will become familiar with various types of welding, equipment, learn about safety and quality standards, and develop your welding technique all under the supervision of a professional team of welders. As your skills increase, so will your responsibilities, giving you hands-on experience, growth, and additional responsibilities. This position operates from a climate controlled and modern welding department area.
