About The Position

Lawrence Equipment is seeking a detail-oriented TIG/Laser Beam Welder to support fabrication and metal component production. The role uses TIG and laser welding equipment to produce accurate, high-quality welds while meeting production requirements, engineering specifications, and safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on TIG and laser welding experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The schedule is second shift, Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with Saturdays as needed from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Requirements

Two years of beam laser welding experience (required).
Five years of TIG welding experience (required).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
Strong ability to assemble and build metal structures.
Familiarity with pipe threading processes.
Competence in laser beam welding.
Proficiency in TIG welding techniques; sanitary welding experience is preferred.
Previous hands-on TIG/laser beam welding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG and laser beam welding on various metal components, preferably with a background in sanitary welding.
Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
Use hand and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal structures.
Operate plasma cutting equipment for metal preparation.
Conduct pipe threading and stick welding as needed.
Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
