About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced TIG Welders for projects located in or around Durham, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $25-$30/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of TIG welding experience preferred
- Experience with pipe welding and stainless systems strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with industrial or commercial construction environments
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and/or aluminum materials
- Welding pipe, tubing, structural components, and fabricated assemblies
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, isometric drawings, and weld symbols
- Preparing materials for welding including cutting, grinding, beveling, and fitting
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Operating hand tools, grinders, torches, and fabrication equipment
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
