About The Position

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented Ticketing Manager to join, supporting our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of ticketing operations, from event builds, distribution, vendor management and staffing across an esport tournament taking place in Los Angeles CA, Allen TX and Brooklyn NY. You will partner closely with the Client’s internal stakeholders, production partners, and venue teams to ensure a seamless, fan-first ticketing experience that reflects our Client’s creative vision and operational excellence. You must be in a position to travel/be away from home between October 11th, 2026 - November 15th, 2026. Contract completes November 27th, 2026.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in live event ticketing, preferably within entertainment, sports, or esports.
  • Strong working knowledge of ticketing platforms and venue box office operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.
  • Comfort navigating cross-functional environments and adapting to fast-changing needs.
  • Experience using Google Suite is a must.
  • Valid passport is required for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with VIP, credentialing, or access control systems is a plus.
  • Passion for live experiences and creating memorable fan journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage all aspects of the Client’s esports tournament ticket operations, including travel to and supervision of event venue box offices & onsite ticketing needs.
  • Oversee and manage third-party ticketing platforms and vendors for all three venues.
  • Work with the Client’s Event Producers and Event Production teams to create and manage ticketing timelines. Paying particular attention to workback schedules.
  • Prepare weekly reports for senior management on event sales, attendance, and ticket inventory.
  • Collaborate with venue box offices for tickets on sale.
  • Lead end-to-end ticketing system builds and manages on-sales via platforms like Ticketmaster, AXS, or local ticketing partners.
  • Collaborate with venue box offices to coordinate show builds (x maps), pre-sales, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with Event Producers, Event Production, and the venues to build seating maps, pricing tiers, and inventory holds.
  • Manage ticket sales launches, including pre-sales, in coordination with the Client’s Corporate Sponsorship and Event Producer teams along with third-party ticketing platform partners to meet fan expectations.
  • Partner with the Client’s internal stakeholders and Event Producers to deliver any ticketing website needs, including creative assets, marketing language, and comms requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Client’s internal teams and 3rd party ticketing. platform partners on methods to ensure ticket sales reach fans including verification systems when possible.
  • Consult on development of fan verification systems as needed.
  • Develop contingency plans for on-sale crashes, scalping, fraud, or system outages.
  • Enforce anti-scalping, refund, transfer, and resale rules.
  • Monitor and flag suspicious purchasing behavior.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between third-party ticketing platforms, venue box offices, and the Client for all events.
  • Serve as the lead for onsite ticketing operations, managing live requests and directing venue box office operations.
  • In collaboration with Event Producers and Logistics teams, create and distribute Know Before You Go guides for guests, comp ticket holders, and internal stakeholders. Act as POC for questions and changes onsite.
  • Troubleshoot and expedite ticketing issues in a prompt, decisive, and professional manner.
  • Ensure accessible seating and fan support protocols are in place and executed smoothly.
  • Provide daily sales and redemption reports, including ticket quantities and revenues.
  • Monitor and release seats in real time as needed to maximize ticket availability and sales.
  • Collect and save the event reports from each venue, tracking and including demographics, purchasing information, location of purchasers etc.
  • Document best practices for future events.
  • Ensure data protection and security measures are taken to receive and store said data.
  • Financial accountability for all ticketing reports and sales.
  • Budget ticketing ownership (ticketing-related fees, platform costs, box office labor).
  • Settlement & post-event reconciliation with venues and ticketing vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with national/regional ticketing laws, tax requirements, and consumer protections.
  • Coordinate local regulatory requirements with venues and platforms.
  • Accessibility compliance (ADA, regional equivalents).
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
