About The Position

Texas Athletics is seeking individuals to provide a quality service experience while assisting customers with ticket sales and mobile resolution. The Ticket Office Assistant will help build and strengthen customer relations with fans of Texas Athletics, assist customers on gameday with ticket resolution and ticket office duties, and help with programming, charging, and placing ticketing pedestal and handheld scanner placement for athletics events. The role also involves performing other duties as assigned and consistently exemplifying the core values and quality standards of Texas Athletics, acting ethically, and complying with all applicable laws, policies, rules, and regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be available for varied hours including but not limited to – evenings, and weekends
  • Must have computer skills and experience
  • Demonstrate ability to take and accurately follow instructions
  • Must be able to maintain a friendly, service attitude at all times.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

  • You will be required to present acceptable and original documents to prove your identity and authorization to work in the United States. Documents need to be presented no later than the third day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous work experience in ticketing operations
  • Knowledge of Paciolan ticketing system a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist with building and strengthening customer relations with fans of Texas Athletics
  • Assist with customers on gameday with ticket resolution and gameday ticket office duties as needed.
  • Assist with programming, charging, and placing ticketing pedestal and handheld scanner placement for athletics events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Actively participate in assigned education and training programs.
  • Comply with all laws, policies, rules and regulations set forth by the Board of Regents of The University of Texas System, The University of Texas at Austin, NCAA, Conference, or other governing body, including state and federal laws.
  • Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income.
  • Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR.
  • Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation.
  • As an employee of the university, if you witness or receive information about sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence or stalking that involves a current student or employee, you have a duty to promptly report the incident to the University’s Title IX Coordinator or a Deputy Title IX Coordinator.
