About The Position
The Ticket Buyer purchases tickets for live events at venue box offices. Purchase orders are received through a smartphone app, and buyers travel to venues and use a company-provided credit card to purchase tickets. After each purchase, buyers enter detailed information in the app and ship the tickets to the company. Buyers earn commissions on each ticket purchase, paid weekly by direct deposit after tickets are received; there is no base pay. The role offers a flexible schedule, requires no prior experience, and may suit people with experience in rideshare, delivery, shopping, courier, or other gig work.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be eligible to work in the United States.
- Be physically able to drive, ride, or walk to venues to buy tickets.
- Have a smartphone to view order requests and enter detailed purchase information.
- Be able to work approximately two days per week, one to four hours per day, generally between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.; venue box office hours vary.
- Be able to communicate through SMS.
- Be accurate, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
- Be trustworthy, reliable, and engaging.
- Have good verbal communication skills.
