About The Position

Kiddie Academy of Longenbaugh-Cypress is seeking an experienced, dependable, and professional Three-Year-Old Teacher to join our team for an opening shift. We are looking for an educator who is confident in the classroom and understands that working with three-year-olds requires patience, consistency, positive guidance, and a genuine commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for every child. The Three-Year-Old Teacher will help create a warm, structured classroom where children feel safe, respected, and excited to learn. Responsibilities include implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining active supervision, using positive and appropriate guidance techniques, communicating professionally with families, maintaining an organized classroom, and working closely with fellow teachers and administration. We are looking for someone who wants to be more than simply present in a classroom. We want an educator who takes pride in their classroom, builds positive relationships with children and families, supports their co-teachers, and understands the responsibility that comes with caring for young children.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of classroom experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
  • Experience working specifically with preschool-aged children, particularly three-year-olds
  • Strong classroom management and positive behavior guidance skills
  • Familiarity with Texas Minimum Standards
  • Ability to maintain appropriate supervision and ensure children's safety at all times
  • Professional, patient, dependable, and able to remain calm in a busy classroom
  • Strong communication skills with children, families, co-teachers, and management
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a co-teaching team
  • Willingness to follow school policies, classroom procedures, curriculum expectations, and licensing requirements
  • Must be a team player who is willing to help where needed
  • CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to complete employer-provided training
