About The Position

The Thread Roll Operator will be responsible for reading and understanding process instructions, setting up and running thread roll machines (Reed, Waterbury, Hartford) in both automatic and hand-fed configurations. This role involves performing visual and manual inspections using various inspection equipment, analyzing and interpreting blueprints and customer drawings, and applying mathematical skills to meet job requirements. The operator must be able to follow instructions, possess strong interpersonal skills, and maintain an excellent attendance record.

Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of shift.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically.
• Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Effective team member.
• Excellent attendance record, including punctuality.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years Thread Roll experience preferred
• Aerospace fastener Industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Read and understand process instructions.
• Set up and run thread roll machines (Reed, Waterbury, Hartford) in automatic and hand-fed configurations.
• Perform visual and manual inspection using inspection equipment such as microscope, comparator, micrometer, tri-rolls, and various gauges.
• Analyze and accurately interpret blueprints, customer drawings, and industry specifications.
• Apply mathematics to meet job requirements.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work and communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Work overtime if needed, including weekends if needed.
