About The Position

THE HAWAII PERMANENTE MEDICAL GROUP, INC. IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED, BOARD CERTIFIED THORACIC SURGEON FOR ITS KAISER PERMANENTE MOANALUA MEDICAL CENTER IN HONOLULU, HI. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Thoracic Surgeon with solid clinical and surgical skills to practice in an innovative, collaborative, and fully integrated health system. The role involves a full spectrum adult thoracic practice with an overall volume of 10-12 cases per month, including elective and urgent cases. The position offers a predictable and manageable call schedule, with rare emergent cases, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Robust PA-C and Hospital Medicine support are available, with prepped rounds and an ideal patient population.

Requirements

• Board Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS)
• 2-5 years of experience required
• Must commit to a full-time schedule for a minimum of 3-months

Nice To Haves

• Thoracic Surgery fellowship trained
• Advance skills in invasive VATS and robotic surgery for both malignant and benign thoracic diseases

Responsibilities

• Perform full spectrum adult thoracic surgery.
