About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is actively recruiting for an experienced, board-certified, fellowship trained Thoracic Surgeon to perform a full range of thoracic procedures and practice exclusively at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. St. Joseph’s Hospital is a flagship hospital and one of the 16 hospitals that comprise BayCare Health System. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and have experience with minimally invasive robotic surgery. An interest and expertise in esophageal surgery is strongly preferred. The thoracic surgeon will be a member of the mature thoracic multidisciplinary team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. There will be close interaction and call sharing with three cardiothoracic surgeons. Requirements

Board Certification by The American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
A minimum of 5 years experience is required, including minimally invasive robotic surgery as well as interest in esophageal surgery.
