Requirements

Home Health Aid Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (Required)
Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile (Required)

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) (Recommended).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. (Recommended)

Responsibilities

Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene (bathing, oral care, shaving, skin and hair care), toileting, ambulation/transfers, eating, and dressing.
Preparing meals and snacks as instructed.
Accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments.
Performing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, changing linens, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
Assisting with patient-specific activities as taught by a Right at Home nurse, which may include medication reminders, assisting with range of motion exercises, preparing special diets, understanding dementia care, and incontinence care.
