About The Position

Right at Home, a leading In-Home Care company, is seeking experienced and professional Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for our Miami office. Requirements

Home Health Aid Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (Required)
Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile (Required)

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) (Recommended).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job. (Recommended)

Responsibilities

Perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair), ambulation/transfers, eating, and dressing/shaving.
Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.
Perform housekeeping activities, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom.
Perform patient-specific activities as taught by a Right at Home nurse, which may include medication reminders, assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises, measuring and preparing special diets, understanding dementia care, and incontinence care.
