Jefferson Radiology is recruiting a Thoracic Radiologist to support its growing Connecticut practice. The position follows a hybrid-subspecialty model, allowing radiologists to choose a personalized level of subspecialization alongside a hybrid general-body imaging role. The ideal candidate can also interpret cardiac CT studies from hospital and outpatient settings. Residents and fellows are welcome to apply. The physician-led practice emphasizes collegiality, collaboration, fairness, transparency, and work-life balance. The position offers flexible scheduling, remote reading opportunities, and a one-year partnership track with profit-sharing opportunities. Radiologists may work with residents through the on-site residency program at Hartford Hospital and teaching opportunities at the University of Connecticut and St. Vincent’s Hospital. The practice provides opportunities to interpret a wide range of exams at community hospitals and tertiary care centers, interact with clinical colleagues, and attend or present at multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards for CME. The work environment is described as modern, efficient, and technology-focused, with the Clario platform, RP’s MosaicOS AI-enabled productivity platform, a 24/7 support team for logistics and clinician communications, and streamlined systems intended to maximize efficiency and minimize interruptions. Jefferson Radiology is a Connecticut-based subspecialty group established in 1963, with more than 90 physicians and over 400 non-physician staff. Its clinical network includes imaging centers, community hospitals, and tertiary-academic centers, supported by an enterprise PACS, home workstations, and cloud-based systems with AI and workflow tools. Compensation is listed as a base of $625,000 for onsite work and $600,000 for remote work, with productivity incentives up to $1,000,000 annually. The compensation section separately describes a $600,000 salary range with productivity incentives up to $1,000,000 and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Commencement and/or retention bonuses may total up to $100,000. A competitive total rewards package includes health and wellness coverage, 401(k) benefits, family planning, telehealth, and other benefits subject to eligibility. The role also offers generous vacation time and a comprehensive benefits program, including retirement savings plans and medical insurance. Practice staffing models may range from three to five days per week.
