About The Position

Jefferson Radiology is recruiting a Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to join its growing nuclear medicine and molecular imaging team. The practice uses a hybrid-subspecialty model, allowing radiologists to choose a level of nuclear medicine specialization ranging from a dedicated nuclear medicine role to a hybrid general radiology and nuclear medicine position. This is an onsite opportunity with flexible scheduling options in a collegial, collaborative section that supports work-life balance and academic growth. Fellows are encouraged to apply. The role provides nuclear medicine coverage for Hartford Hospital, an 867-bed teaching hospital and regional referral center, and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, a 185-bed pediatric acute care hospital. Clinical services include adult and pediatric nuclear medicine, PET/CT, SPECT/CT, planar imaging, selected nuclear cardiology, and radionuclide therapies. The position includes interpreting inpatient and outpatient examinations, providing technical expertise, participating in adult and pediatric tumor boards, and potentially taking part in research connected to the affiliated cancer center and its clinical trials. Jefferson Radiology is a 90-plus-physician subspecialty group with more than 400 non-physician staff. The practice offers a physician-led culture, flexible partnership-track staffing models, home workstations, enterprise PACS, cloud-based systems, and AI-supported workflow tools. The position offers a salary range beginning at $600,000, productivity incentives up to $1,000,000, and eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
