About The Position

The Third Person in Charge is responsible for operating the entire store when the Store Director and Assistant Store Director are not present. This role is one of the classifications from which candidates for retail leadership development training are typically selected; successful completion of that training may lead to advancement into store management. The position provides customer service, trains new employees, coordinates hiring activities, assists with merchandising, and helps direct late-shift operations. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, customer service and supervisory ability, knowledge of store operations, communication and leadership skills, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and with a team. The company describes its culture as people-oriented and offers eligible associates benefits that may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and bereavement pay. Other offerings mentioned include competitive pay, weekly payroll, early access to earned wages, associate discounts, and investment in training and career development.
