About The Position

The Thespian Sponsor directs and coordinates a program that allows students to develop their interests. The sponsor provides leadership for the Thespian club, including organizing and supervising the club, setting its directions and expectations, and monitoring members’ eligibility and academic progress. The Activity Sponsor reports to the athletic director and building principal. The position is at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado, with a stated work schedule of August 10, 2026, through December 15, 2026.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Complete and submit a BVSD online application.
• Ability to communicate in English by reading, writing, and speaking.

• Availability after school, in the evenings, and on weekends.
• Knowledge of all aspects of high school activity programming.
• Proven leadership qualities and successful experience working with high school students.
