The Thermoset Product Manager is responsible for driving growth and profitability across thermoset dispersions and related plastics product lines within the Americas. This role defines and executes segment strategies by leveraging deep market insights, competitive positioning, and product portfolio expertise. The position partners cross-functionally to align commercial, technical, and operational priorities while delivering value to customers. Success is measured through revenue growth, margin expansion, and increased market share.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related technical field; or equivalent experience in technical B2B environments
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B technical marketing, product management, or technical sales
  • Demonstrated experience managing product portfolios and executing growth strategies in industrial or specialty materials markets
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across commercial and technical teams
  • Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable business strategies

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in thermosets, thermoplastics, or plastics-related industries
  • Background in strategic marketing or product management within specialty chemicals or materials
  • Proven track record of launching new products and driving adoption in competitive markets
  • Experience working with global or regional teams across commercial and technical functions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute segment strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across thermoset and thermoplastics product lines
  • Manage the full product lifecycle including portfolio optimization, rationalization, and successful new product launches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain to deliver commercial and operational outcomes
  • Lead market intelligence efforts, including competitive analysis, customer insights, and identification of new business opportunities
  • Support commercial execution through product training, promotional strategy development, and engagement with key customers and industry events
