About The Position

Vestwell is expanding and we’re keen to add a Product Manager to our team who’s passionate about changing the retirement industry. We’re looking for someone who loves to solve problems and is driven to build great products. You will work across all of our solutions - translating company goals into focused initiatives, actionable steps, and a living backlog of work to be done. You will help refine and execute a product vision, improve engineering project management processes, and implement external/internal product communication and feedback channels. This role will lead and expand Vestwell's user-facing platform experiences and identity capabilities, which includes: The end-to-end user experience across all persona types — advisors, participants, and sponsors — from onboarding through day-to-day web/mobile use, across surfaces including the portal, mobile app, reporting and statements, in-product education, and digital support tools (Help Center, chat, and notifications) Platform identity and security, including login, authentication, and account management White labeling and configurable partner experiences, including the platform infrastructure that supports them Self-service capabilities and digital servicing, reducing operational friction for customers and internal teams alike Accessibility and inclusive design across all user-facing surfaces You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how every user experiences Vestwell. Our team owns a uniquely broad surface area — this is a role that rewards deep product curiosity, tight cross-functional alignment, and a high bar for what gets shipped.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or a similarly fast-paced product environment
  • Strong UX judgement with a proven ability to partner with Design to deliver the best possible experience
  • Ability to write detailed, unambiguous requirements that engineering can execute with confidence
  • Comfort managing a wide portfolio of features and workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills — proactive, transparent, and consistent in keeping teams aligned
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases

  • Experience in the retirement industry (401(k), 403(b), IRA, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Own the squad roadmap end-to-end — translating stakeholder needs and company goals into focused initiatives, and communicating and defending priorities across the organization
  • Partner with Design to drive UX quality from concept to delivery — raising the right questions, pushing on edge cases, and ensuring experiences are fully thought through before development begins
  • Partner with Engineering and QA through the full development lifecycle — from clear requirements and acceptance criteria through feedback, bug identification, and final sign-off
  • Proactively identify platform gaps, build the business case for addressing them, and use usage trends to inform what gets prioritized next
  • Actively leverage AI tools to sharpen your own output, and identify opportunities to embed AI into the product experiences we build
