RTX•East Hartford, CT
•$68,900 - $131,100•Onsite

About The Position

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Thermo-Fluids Engineer to join its Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles (MSEN) engineering team. The role supports the design and analysis of gas turbine mechanical systems for aircraft applications, focusing on bearing compartments, gearboxes, and oil/air service tubes. The engineer performs thermal and fluid-flow analyses, develops physics-based methods and tools, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions. The MSEN Engineering organization designs, develops, and provides in-service support for power transmission systems, bearing compartments and rotor support, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, and nacelles for commercial and military engine models. The position is onsite in East Hartford, Connecticut, with less than 10% domestic and international travel. It requires a U.S. Person; security clearance is not required.
