About The Position

The Therapy Team Leader is a licensed clinician who provides hands-on patient care while leading a therapy team. The role combines clinical work with supervision, mentoring, staff development, and coordination of team operations to support patient outcomes and business objectives. The position is with Encompass Health, a national inpatient rehabilitation and post-acute care provider.

Requirements

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP is required.
• BLS (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of three years of discipline-specific experience.

• Active on the Therapy Clinical Ladder when eligible or specialty professional certification.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
