About The Position

The Therapy Supervisor is a leadership role which is responsible for performing exceptional patient care, in addition to providing strong leadership to Physical Therapy Techs, and other onsite staff. Requirements

  • BS, MS, or DPT from an accredited school
  • Current Physical Therapist license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Outpatient Orthopedic practice experience highly preferred
  • 3 years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as a productive, licensed Physical Therapist
  • Organize/manage PT Tech schedules and timecards
  • Coordinate coverage when PT Techs or PTs are out, reorganizing patients as able
  • Provide counselling to PT Techs when they encounter issues or require additional training
  • Interview for new PT Techs as needed
  • Assist in onboarding new PT Techs and Therapists as they orient to clinic
  • Manage PTO requests for PT Techs and PTs to ensure the clinic is properly covered
  • Order supplies - evaluate needs and receive in inventory as items come in (large supply/equipment issues managed by Therapy Clinic Manager)
  • Address building issues as needed with physician manager/building services
  • If contractor is in place- ensure appropriate charting and billing
  • Organize monthly in-services in collaboration with Therapy Clinic Manager
  • Manage in basket requests daily and accommodate to therapist schedules/monitor for schedule openings and FU with front desk/PAC to add where available
  • Submit and resolve OV safe items as needed-resolve issues around this
  • Maintain front desk relationship to problem solve issues as they arise
  • Address patient issues as they arise- guidance will be provided as well
  • Maintain relationship with operations to address front desk concerns.
  • Overall problem solving with EPIC/IT etc.
  • Ensure monthly OSHA/HIPAA are reviewed and completed and any issues addressed in a timely manner
