About The Position

Inspire Medical Systems is hiring a Therapy Development Representative to grow awareness and adoption of its FDA-approved medical device for people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), particularly those who cannot tolerate CPAP or do not receive consistent benefit from it. The role focuses on developing referral channels, increasing patient identification, and growing the therapy pipeline and patient conversion. The representative reports to the Regional Manager and collaborates with Territory Managers to support territory growth and business initiatives. The position includes educating primary care, internal medicine, cardiology, and other providers who treat or manage patients with OSA; supporting community education and physician engagement; and assessing markets for growth opportunities and referral gaps. It also involves logging customer engagements and creating physician profiles in CRM systems. Clinical coverage may be provided as needed, secondary to referral-development responsibilities. The representative will develop an understanding of implants, patient pathways, and therapy delivery, and may complete training for therapy activation and implant procedures at the discretion of the Area Vice President and Regional Manager. The role requires travel within the territory or region, including overnight travel as needed, and reliable transportation for visits to hospitals, clinics, and customer sites. The stated salary is $105,000. Inspire offers health and insurance benefits, retirement and equity participation opportunities, flexible time off, and tuition reimbursement.
