About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time outpatient orthopedic rehab aide to join their dynamic Occupational and Physical therapy team in their brand-new space on the Baylor University Medical Center campus in Downtown Dallas. The clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7am-7pm and Friday 7am-5pm. The starting rate is $18/hr.

Requirements

• Candidate must be hard working, thrive in a fast-paced environment, friendly, energetic, able to multi-task, adaptable, and eager to learn and contribute to a positive team.
• BLS Certification or completion within 90 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Previous tech experience preferred but not required
• One or more years of hospital experience as therapy aide preferred

Responsibilities

• Assistance to clinicians for direct patient care (transferring, toileting)
• Infection control cleaning
• Light equipment maintenance
• Assistance to front desk for light clerical tasks
• Setting up patients on therapeutic activities
• Facilitating exercise groups
• Other duties as assigned
