PRN Therapy Aide
About The Position
PT Solutions Physical Therapy is hiring a PRN Physical Therapy Aide for an entry-level role supporting patient treatments and clinic operations. The aide works under the direction of licensed clinicians, helps maintain clinic flow, and may occasionally assist with front desk duties. The role offers direct exposure to patient care, observation hours for physical therapy school or healthcare applications, and potential career progression within a nationwide physical therapy practice. Consistent, ongoing availability throughout the year is required; seasonal hires are not accommodated.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED at minimum; a diploma for the highest level of education obtained must be submitted.
- Consistent, ongoing availability throughout the year; seasonal availability is not accepted.
- Occasional lifting of 50 pounds or more consistent with patient care.
- Occasional carrying of 50 pounds or more consistent with patient care.
- Occasional pushing of 0–300 pounds consistent with patient care.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of 0–50 pounds consistent with patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and assist them to the treatment area as directed by a therapist or therapist assistant.
- Clean treatment rooms and prepare them for the next patient.
- Maintain the cleanliness of therapeutic equipment.
- Answer and direct telephone calls.
