About The Position

SSM Health Physical Therapy is seeking a Therapy Aide/Rehab Aide to float between their Cardinal Glennon Pediatric Therapy locations. This part-time role involves assisting therapists with patient activities, preparing equipment, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the clinic space. This position is ideal for students pursuing education in a medical-related field. SSM Health Physical Therapy is a leading provider of outpatient services with over 80 centers in the St. Louis Metro area, specializing in sports, orthopedic, hand, and work-related injuries. They employ over 700 therapists and patient service specialists dedicated to exceptional care and customer service.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

• Some college experience in a related healthcare field preferred.
• Prior experience working within a physical therapy setting is preferred.
• Prefer candidate to be enrolled in PT/OT program.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient-related tasks assigned by therapist.
• Performs all duties in accordance with the rules and regulations regarding non-licensed personnel as outlined in the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Practice Acts.
• Assists therapist or front office staff with clerical duties including handling phone calls and inquiries, greeting and directing patients, confirmation of appointments, mailing tasks, filing and other duties as requested.
• Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition, including cleaning tables, equipment, assisting with laundry and maintaining supplies.
• Performs other duties as requested.
