About The Position
LSI is seeking a full-time or part-time Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to join a team of experienced and licensed therapists in Spencer. The therapist will provide telehealth and in-person therapy and counseling to couples, families, adults, and children. This is an immediate opening in response to high community need. LSI therapists also serve as expert advisors to the agency’s early childhood, behavioral health, and family safety teams.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or another approved related field.
- Must be licensed in Iowa; applicants with temporary or provisional licenses are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic client care databases and MS Office software.
- Flexible availability; evening and weekend hours may be required to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide community-based therapy and counseling assessments.
- Potentially see clients in school-based and office-based settings.
- Serve a diverse population of children, adults, couples, and families.
- Develop individual treatment plans that address each client’s behavioral and mental health care needs.
- Manage case-plan oversight and re-evaluate plans as necessary to support client outcomes.
