About The Position

Copper Springs East, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring an Outpatient Therapist for a day schedule. The Therapist assesses patients’ psychosocial needs, develops treatment plans with healthcare teams, and provides counseling and support to patients and families facing mental health challenges. The role also connects patients with community resources and advocates for their rights and equitable care.

Requirements

• Current state LMSW or LCSW license.
• Master’s degree from an accredited school.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ psychosocial needs, including their emotional, psychological, and social situations.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families facing mental health challenges.
• Connect patients with community resources and services, such as support groups and housing assistance.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and equitable care within the healthcare system.
