We are looking for a full-time Therapist to join our CHANCE Program for our Jacksonville, FL location. This position does require the person in this role to be on call since it is a 24/7 program. A willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours in the service of foster caregivers, families of origin, and persons served as well as on call 24/7. Compensation: $60,000-$65,000/yr. depending on degree(s), experience, and licensure. Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, this position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families served. This position works closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing counseling or therapy, advocacy, and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community as well as responding to crisis situations 24/7 serving human trafficking victims in the child welfare system. Therapeutic foster care provides a safe and stable home with parents who are specially trained in the unique behavioral, emotional, and social needs of survivors of human trafficking. Community response teams work with youth in the community to help them heal from their trauma and build resiliency to mitigate the risk of future human trafficking involvement. CHANCE programming is provided in the home, school, and community environments and addresses the safety, emotional, and behavioral needs of youth served.
