About The Position

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time Therapist to provide behavioral health care to older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. The role offers clinical autonomy, organizational support, onsite patient care, and remote documentation without the administrative responsibilities of private practice.

The Therapist conducts clinical assessments, makes diagnoses, and provides individual psychotherapy for concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment disorder, grief and loss, and life transitions. The position involves collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends.

Requirements

• Hold an active, unrestricted North Carolina license as an LPC or LMFT.
• Be eligible for independent practice and billing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with older adults or post-acute care is preferred.
• All levels of experience as a psychotherapist are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments and diagnoses.
