About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Hospitalist in Greenville, NC to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time work of 4–5 weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, with a stated schedule of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities are also available for a minimum of 3 weekdays per week. There are no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. The posting states W-2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year, plus benefits, for a 30-hour work week, and lists a salary range of $200,000–$300,000 per year. No work visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
