Therapist - Associate/Fully Licensed - St. Illa Residential
About The Position
The Therapist provides counseling with an emphasis on prevention and/or behavior modification. The role develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans, and works with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health. The Therapist helps individuals address addictions and substance abuse, suicide, stress management, self-esteem, and issues associated with mental and emotional health. The position is based at St. Illa Residential, 3455 Harris Rd., Waycross, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Annual salary is commensurate with education and credentials. The employer offers free clinical supervision. A $1,000 signing bonus is paid at hire, with a $4,000 retention bonus after one year of employment. Employees pursuing master's licensure may receive up to $500 reimbursement for study materials and/or application and testing fees.
Requirements
- Master’s degree and pursuing licensure.
- One year of experience in a social service-related position.
- Knowledge of diagnostic impressions or criteria.
- Knowledge of how the client advocacy system operates.
- Knowledge of individual and group therapy techniques.
- Knowledge of therapeutic models and interventions directly related to the area of assignment.
Nice To Haves
- Full licensure (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is preferred.
