About The Position
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate individual to provide critical intervention to children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral health needs. This role involves working with youth in a residential treatment setting in Orlando (Pine Hills area). Responsibilities include developing individualized master treatment plans, providing individual, family, and group counseling, completing clinical documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to review client treatment, goals, progress, and future needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology field required
- 2+ years experience working with children or families in need of mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, or related required
- Valid Driver's license required
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
- Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.
Nice To Haves
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida preferred.
