About The Position

The Multi-Systemic Therapist provides comprehensive services to adolescents and their families. The role includes completing functional assessments of adolescents in the context of their families, schools, and communities. The therapist helps parents build supportive social networks and address adolescents’ needs more effectively, teaches adolescents new coping skills, and emphasizes lasting changes that families can maintain after program completion. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a human service field.
Two years of experience.
QMHP required.
Valid North Carolina driver’s license.
Strong understanding of family systems and social ecology theories.
Understanding of MST philosophy and practices.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with antisocial behaviors in adolescents.
Licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or pursuing licensure.
