About The Position

Les Peters Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program for female youth aged 14 to 19. This program provides youth with comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, and evidence-based intensive mental health services. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while in the program. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher required in a Clinical curriculum or a related field.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical, and TB Test.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern or a registered Clinical Social Work Intern is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to clients and their families according to the needs documented in their assessment and treatment plan.
