About The Position

Centerstone is a leading nonprofit behavioral health system dedicated to providing life-changing care. We are seeking Master Level Interns for the school year to support our school-based staff and clinic operations. Interns will be responsible for assessment, case coordination, and providing individual, group, and family counseling under the supervision of experienced professionals. This role emphasizes outstanding customer service and adherence to documentation standards.

Requirements

Enrollment in a Master's level counseling program such as Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work.
Student in good standing currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.

Responsibilities

Provide assessment, case coordination, individual, group, and family counseling to service recipients.
Assist school-based staff and provide support at the clinic as needed.
Participate in new hire orientation and begin internship weekly.
Shadow school-based staff to understand the expectations of a school-based therapist.
Commit to spending a specified number of hours each week with Centerstone.
Manage a caseload throughout the school year.
Attend and lead at least one group consistently throughout the school year, including planning, resource lookup, activities, and writing group notes.
Maintain 24-hour documentation standards.
Attend required supervision through Centerstone and participate in required supervision through the Master's program.
