About The Position
This position will be located at our Adult Outpatient Services in Dothan, Al Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Responsibilities: Provide therapeutic services to clients of the system's substance abuse and mental illness units Employ various clinical and social treatment skills and approaches Provides clinical intakes, psychotherapy, documentation, coordination with agency services and response to emergency situations Travel may be required within the five county catchment area and/or statewide as needed
Requirements
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Completion of a relevant clinical practicum
- Two years post masters experience in the field
- Must be willing to obtain AADA certification within 30 months of hire
- good background check and MVR and a pre-employment drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Licensure as an LCSW or LPC in the state of Alabama is preferred but not required
